Dwarka Expressway Pros & Cons

A part of Master plan 2021, Super Dwarka Expressway is aimed to cut down travel time between Delhi and Haryana. It is surely an ambitious plan covering the route between Dwarka’s RTR crossing and Kherki Daula village on NH-8. Dwarka residents finding it hard to travel to Manesar or beyond now will be able to save time crossing this wide detour once the project completes. It is going to have a total run of 18 km with lush stretch of greenery on both the sides. Of the total length, 2/3rd will go through the Gurgaon suburban area while the rest 1/3rd is within Delhi. For the construction of this Expressway, the government needs approximately 630 acres of land, out of which 600 acres are already available. It will contain high-speed eight-lane corridor having 2-4 service lanes on both its sides. The Expressway will go through a variety of different places including,  Dwarka  Palam Vihar  Gurgaon rail station  Dryport, Harsaru  Special Economic Zone (SEZ) With so many features associated with the Expressway it is natural that the benefits associated with the project will be too many to count.
